is anyone else seeing those arms of hers?? lol. they look great.

  • age0freason

Clearly you are a victim of Europeanization. Go read a book.

  • Bella Imaan

Wtf! Lmaooooo most women in Africa DO have long super curly hair… Lots of them choose to cut their hair for wathever reasons.. Ignorance is really sad and scary

  • HappilyNaturallit26

    Those GUNS!!!

  • agentjunieb

I think mostly because if you go to Africa, almost none of the women there have long curly hair.

  • futuredoc1988

Can’t wait for my hair to get long enough to do a bun like this

  • elclarkec

    SUPERCUTE!!!!!

  • elclarkec

How come this the first time I’m seeing this video!?

  • KittyxLava

    i have seen that :)

  • KittyxLava

    *black

  • thedarknessofnana

Ohhh nooo I wasn’t meaning to imply that. Not at all. I meant that it’s possible for black people to have a larger curl pattern, not that it’s nicer. My curl pattern is a 4a and I love it. It’s just that most people think that black people ONLY have 4c hair, but it’s possible to have a larger curl pattern. My mom is a 3c. But we’re Islanders (from The Bahamas, woo!), so we have a lot more mixing in us making that more likely.

  • Rosannasfriend

I would agree, but you misstep by implying that looser curls are the “nice” curl pattern. All curls and all hair are nice and beautiful, as long as they’re taken care of. :)

  • Recklessfire0

cute, now i’m itching to do one of these :D

  • loveforlord7777

hair too but i was just asking

  • loveforlord7777

thedarknessofnana i know blsck people can grow long soft healthy and pretty

  • thedarknessofnana

And you know what’s funny? I know some white people with hair just as curly and kinky as black people, and some black people with hair soft like mixed / mulatto people.

  • thedarknessofnana

Nahhh, black people can have a nice curl pattern, too. Look at mahoganycurls’ youtube channel. . . she’s another natural black lady, and her curls are even larger and more defined than Miss Naptural’s here. . . The before mentioned lady has pencil-width curls.

  • thedarknessofnana

No. No she’s not mixed with something. She’s southern African American and Jamaican. Black people can grow long, pretty, soft hair too, you know. It’s just a common misconception that all black women have short, nappy, wiry hair.

  • loveforlord7777

    ur mixed with something right?

  • empressofwords

Your arms are so beautiful, toned and strong. :-)

  • Tayleevy

because her hair texture is not typical of ONLY subsaharan african decent….she obviously has mixed ancestry, but so do sooo many black other ppl. So having to ask if she’s mixed IS ignorant because it goes with the assumption that black means straight from africa. Not to say people who are only african cant have long healthy hair. I’ve seen it many times!!

  • amastara11

@JaySymonLee no its actually pretty great :) it doesn’t dry out your hair

  • amastara11

@RyMingTahn there’s usually something else somewhere down the line but not enough for us to call ourselves “mixed”…… but anyway that pisses me off too.. I guess if you are lighter than a tire, and have hair that comes past your ears, you must be “mixed” to a lot of people smh…..as if africans themselves are all the same color with the same hair

  • RyMingTahn

bc of society… its so freaking sad… i mean we are all mixed in some sort of way but i understand what you are saying

  • RyMingTahn

and if you have shorter hair you can do a Puff!!

  • Shaina Azad

For sure! I will try and do a step-by-step simple cornrow tutorial :)

  • aplusblonde
